Top 10 Passion Killers in a Relationship
Thursday 03-10-2011 10:30am ET
So apparently the 7 year itch is now hitting around the 3 year mark...  According to a new survey, these are the top 10 things you do that are considered killers.

10 - Disgusting bathroom habits, like leaving nail clippings on the floor or staining a toilet bowel.

9 - Bad fashion choices, and not regulary replacing your under with new, more attractive ones.

8 - Snoring.

7 - Drinking too much alcohol.

6 - Not bringing the romance anymore.

5 - Too much time with in-laws or if a parent moves in with you.

4 - Personal cleanliness and hygiene issues.

3 - Long work hours.

2 - Becoming too tight or loose with money.

1 - Gaining weight and a lack of exercise.

If you are having relationship issues, consider this top 10 list to make sense of it all:)  Or to make it simple, I guess we must lose weight, be smart about spending money, work less, bathe, ignore family, be romantic, forget alcohol, get breathe right strips, buy new underwear and scrub the toilet after you use it HA:)
Video of Silli's Progress - Basic Commands
Thursday 02-24-2011 3:10pm ET
So Mitch (K9 Heeling) sent me some video today of some footage from Silli's training session this week.  It has been 1 month since we started training.  There has been quite a bit of improvement.

Silli wouldn't listen at all when we started.  She didnt know her basic commands like sit, stay, come, up, down, heel, etc.  We have worked with her for weeks on getting her to learn these commands and to stop reacting so aggresively to a knock on the door.  The door knocking would normally set her off and the barking would be non stop.

This video below captures her listening and responding positively to Mitch's commands, going into her crate with no prob (she was never in a crate until we started wtih Mitch), sitting, staying, and not reacting to his knocks on the door.  Impressive:)

Mitch says the next step is to start introducing her to more people.  He is going to introduce more of his staff to her so that they can beginning some training as well.  This is where the REAL challenge will be for her.  She doesn't like people.  It has taken her quite some time to even get to know Mitch and that has been great.  You see him kiss her on the head at the end of the video which truly shows that she has learned to trust him.  So sweet.

I'm excited about the next month of Silli's journey.  It hasn't been easy so far trying to juggle training around my already hectic lifestyle of working and raising a 1 year old, but we are doing the best job we can:)  I'll keep you up to date with her progress!

So a lot of people have emailed me and posted on my facebook asking about how Silli is doing with K9 Heeling and her training with Mitch.  Lots of progress lately!

This is a dog that does not like strangers and rarely warms up to people.  Here is a pic of her and Mitch from this mornings session.  Awesome right?

We had a great session over the weekend with Mitch, Phil, and I.  We did a bunch of exercises just walking her around the house on her leash.  She LOVES pupcorn so we broke up tons of little pieces and used the treats to get her to stay focused on us and doing what we wanted her to do.  She would stop for us, continuing walking, hop up on her stool, sit, and stay, all when asked.

She has major issues with the front door opening and closing.  Silli goes ballistic barking and growling as soon as the door handle is touched.  Mitch was able to get her to barely react to the door opening and keep her focus on us the whole time.  Major progress.  He also would move around the room making noise and walking loudly which usually leads to her going into attack mode.  This weekend, she kept her focus on Phil and I.  Awesome!

Mitch is going to send me some video from Sunday's session and this mornings session.  Ill be sure to post them!!  Go to the Kiss 959 Homepage and click the K9 Heeling logo to sign up for your free consultation.
